<\/span>When, where and how often does the board meet?<\/strong><\/div>
The board typically meets the first Thursday of every month in the lower level of Ocean View Methodist Church, 701 Ocean Drive, North Palm Beach, FL. Occasionally, meeting dates need to be changed. Meeting dates are posted in advance on this website and with signs placed at the entrances of the Juno Isles community. Meeting information is also provided in the Residents Only section of this website and via email blast for residents who have signed up for the JICA mailing list. <\/div><\/div>\n
<\/span>How can I get involved?<\/strong><\/div>
Attend the board meetings. Consider joining the board or one of our committees.
\nBoard members are elected at our annual meeting typically held in November. Interim vacancies can be filled by a majority vote of existing board members. If you\u2019re interested in joining the board or any of our committees, please let us know. <\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>How does the board enforce our covenants?<\/strong><\/div>

<\/span>I received a notice about a covenant violation. What do I do now?<\/strong><\/div>
Generally, the notice will explain what action you need to take. If you believe you are not in violation or there is a compelling reason you cannot comply, you must contact the board immediately. <\/div><\/div>\n
<\/span>How are our assessments used?<\/strong><\/div>
The assessments are allocated for the maintenance of common areas, community activities, crime prevention, covenant enforcement, liability insurance, and community improvements. They also support the publication of our newsletter, website maintenance, and special mailings to residents. Additionally, a portion of the funds covers part-time secretarial services <\/div><\/div>\n
<\/span>Are board members paid?<\/strong><\/div>
All board and committee members serve without pay or remuneration of any kind. <\/div><\/div>\n
<\/span>Can our covenants be amended?<\/strong><\/div>
Yes. Contained within the covenants is the process for amending them. Any homeowner following the prescribed procedure can propose a change. All covenant changes must be approved by a majority of homeowners properly represented in person or by proxy at our annual meeting. <\/div><\/div>\n
