When, where and how often does the board meet?
The board meets the first Monday of every month at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church at 13301 Ellison Wilson Rd. Rarely, meeting dates need to be changed. Meeting notifications are posted on this website and by signs posted at our various entrances.

How can I get involved?
Attend the board meetings. Consider joining the board or one of our committees.
Board members are elected at our annual meeting typically held in November. Interim vacancies can be filled by a majority vote of existing board members. If you’re interested in joining the board or any of our committees, please let us know.

How do I contact the board?
You can contact the board by phone, email or letter. Please see the “contacts” section on our website.

How does the board enforce our covenants?
Please see a notice about covenant enforcement in the “special notices” section on our website.

I received a notice about a covenant violation. What do I do now?
Generally, the notice will explain what action you need to take. If you believe you are not in violation or there is a compelling reason you cannot comply, you must contact the board immediately.

How are our assessments used?
The assessments are used for common area maintenance, community activities, crime prevention, covenant enforcement, liability insurance and community improvements. Assessments are also used for our newsletter, maintenance of our website and special mailings to our residents. Additionally, the board pays a modest amount for part-time secretarial services. Our annual budget may be viewed in the “financial documents” section on our website.

Are board members paid?
All board and committee members serve without pay or remuneration of any kind.

Can our covenants be amended?
Yes. Contained within the covenants is the process for amending them. Any homeowner following the prescribed procedure can propose a change. All covenant changes must be approved by a majority of homeowners properly represented in person or by proxy at our annual meeting.
