Architectural Committee, Water Mains and More News
Architectural Committee Meeting on January 15th
Typically, the Architectural Committee meets during or just before or after the monthly Board meetings. Since the January Board meeting last week, we have received four requests for fence approvals. Rather than be bureaucratic and take the 30 days that are allowed for reviews, we are holding a brief architectural committee meeting on Zoom to review these requests.
The meeting will be Monday, January 15, 2024, at 7:00 PM. The fence requests are for houses on Juno Isles Blvd., Barrow Road and Crafton Road. The logon information is below for those interested. (If you’re that interested, you should consider volunteering to be on the Board or in some other capacity.) In general, we request you submit requests electronically at least several days before our monthly Board meetings on the first Thursday of the month.

Juno Isles Holiday Lights
The Holiday Lights were so outstanding this year that there was actually a tie for the Miracle on Juno Isles Award – the house that best reminds us of Christmas past. 12935 Drayton Road also won in this category but were not mentioned in our last e-mail. Our apologies for the oversight and thanks to everyone who participated in making the holidays in juno Isles a bit more joyous.
Water Main Project to Begin Next Month
The Seacoast Utility Authority project to replace the water mains WEST of Ellison Wilson Road is scheduled to begin next month. For more information you can go the project website Juno Isles – West Side – Public Information Site (junoislesproject.com) If you would like to be placed on a list to receive e-mail updates, send a request to Yamile Fernandez at yfernandez@cesconstruct.com. you can also call the project hotline at 561-815-4770. The project is expected to be completed in about a year. Seacoast has begun the preliminary design and contracting work to replace the water mains in the rest of juno Isles. Construction on the EAST side of Ellison Wilson Road is expected to begin in early 2025.
Boats, Trailers, and RV’s must be Hidden from View
Both Palm Beach County and Juno isles require that all boats, trailers, and Recreational Vehicles must be stored on the side of the house, behind the front plane of the house with the view of them blocked by fences or shrubbery. Fences need to be approved by both Juno Isles and Palm Beach County. Due to the construction of the weir and related periodic inoperability of the boat lift, we did not aggressively enforce this covenant this past year. The weir work to better protect our waterways from King Tides is essentially complete and everyone needs to abide by the rules. Don’t wait for a letter from Juno Isles or a notice from Palm Beach County Code Enforcement. Be a good neighbor and hide the play toys from view.
Keep Your Trash to Yourself
The pickup of our yard trash is on Thursdays. Please wait till the day before to put your stuff on the street and DO NOT put yard waste out just after the trash has been picked up. Get with your landscape folks to have them come on a different day if need be, but your neighbors do not want to look at the waste for the whole week. For more information, you can cll the Solid Waste Authority at 561-697-2700.
